Grainger 8

G8 is a Level 2 high-power rocket designed to fly on mid-to-upper L-class solid motors. Building on the team’s previous G7 vehicle, G8 will be the team’s first fully fiberglass build and is being developed as a high-performance test platform to validate composite construction methods for future, higher dynamic-pressure flight conditions. With an expected peak speed of approximately Mach 0.8, and altitude of ~6,500 feet.
